Position: Equity and Compliance Support Specialist

​

Overview: Espousal Strategies, LLC is seeking an independent, organized, and collaborative individual to provide high quality Equity, DBE, and Civil Rights support on capital construction and other projects. The Equity and Compliance Support Specialist is responsible for assisting Espousal Strategies’ client’s civil rights compliance requirements --including construction projects -- with federally required provisions for federally aided projects, contract compliance, labor compliance, equal opportunity, on-the-job training, data tracking, and reporting as required. In addition, this position will support Espousal Strategies’ internal DEI and civil rights programs and operations. The individual should live or be willing to relocate to the Portland/Vancouver metro area. This position will provide guidance and advice to clients, employees, and others in ensuring equal opportunity practices are being upheld, with the supervision and direction of the Senior Manager of Civil Rights

Compensation: Salary range 80-100k

Position: Government and Community Affairs Coordinator

​

Overview: The Government and Community Affairs Coordinator is responsible for supporting Espousal Strategies’ Government Relations and Community Engagement teams. Working primarily with the Government Relations team, the coordinator will provide research, briefing preparation, presentation drafting and editing, data-analysis, drafting plans, task coordination, and logistical/scheduling support to these teams across assigned clients and projects. 

 

The role will require regular travel between Portland OR, and Vancouver, WA. The role will require some travel to Salem, OR, and evening and weekend duties when assigned.

Compensation: Salary range 60-80k

Position: Data Analyst

​

Overview: The Equity Data Analyst is responsible for designing qualitative and quantitative survey instruments, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data results necessary to achieve stellar work products for clients of Espousal Strategies and Firm activities. 

 

The ideal candidate excels at telling stories with data, stays current on evolving qualitive and quantitative methods and technology, and has a commitment to advancing equitable solutions. 
 

Compensation: Salary range 70-100k

Position: Assistant to the President

Overview: Espousal Strategies, LLC is hiring an Assistant to the President. We are a Portland-based firm, specializing in government, community, and public affairs. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented, and is an expert multi-tasker. They are flexible, self-directing, and have the skills required to manage a busy executive and a growing firm. The Assistant to the President will be a key member of Espousal Strategies’ executive support team charged with providing high-level support for the President and will oversee office management and administration.

Compensation: Salary range 80-110k

Position: Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) Program Community Engagement Lead

​

Overview: The Community Engagement Lead will lead a mega-project’s Community Engagement ongoing strategy, planning, implementation and evaluation as a member of the IBR program’s Public Affairs team. The Community Engagement lead is one of three discipline leads, including Government Affairs and Communications – all reporting to the program Public Affairs manager.
